A summer hotel with decent food. Large and cosy rooms, GREAT stay for road trip!

The location was perfect, right next to the sea with a beautiful view. The two swimming pools were a highlight, especially the sunny terrace where we soaked up the sun in June. The hotel also had a 24-hour reception with free WIFI, which was super convenient for us to stay connected and share our fun experiences. We had a blast exploring the surrounding area with activities like 4x4 trips, boat trips, and even cycling. And let's not forget about PortAventura, the famous theme park nearby. It was a thrilling adventure!

If I had to ask for one thing to make it more fun for young party-goers like us, it would be to have a lively bar or nightclub within the hotel premises. While we enjoyed the food and drinks at the restaurant, having a dedicated space for young people to socialize and have a great time would have been the cherry on top of an already fantastic stay.

This was quite a nice hotel with lovely swimming pool and located right on the beach overlooking the sea. There were plenty of sun beds around the pool. The bedrooms were spacious with good en suite facilities. Adequate parking

The hotel was rather tired looking and could have done with a coat of paint and some modernisation. When we complained that the edge of the pool was dirty it was put right immediately.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel right by the sea with stunning views and well-maintained facilities. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly and the breakfast offered great value for money, with a variety of options including fresh squeezed orange juice and savory snacks. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, and the spacious free parking was a bonus. Carlos III provided an excellent experience and we would definitely consider returning.

Good-sized and cosy units with balcony and amicable staff.

The views from the balcony were stunning and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The pools and easy access to the beaches were perfect for a weekend getaway. The room was well-maintained and had all necessary amenities.

The hotel was outdated and the furnishings were uncomfortable. The breakfast selection was limited and the coffee machine was not working properly.

The hotel's 1950's design is charming. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice terrace and pool. Adequate breakfast.

lovelly hotel bit difficult to find but well worth it when we got there right by the sea beautifull ignore the cement factory about 1 km up did not interfere with any thing would happily return

the venue was pleasant and quiet, i greatly enjoyed the stay and the location was magnificent very close to the nearest cafe as well as the shore. all of the staff were really kind, amazingly great. the single room was exceptionally nice with a view, so that guests had essentials.

The breakfast has great options: breads, cakes, and pastries.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, with its proximity to the beach and stunning sea views from the rooms. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and equipped with a lovely balcony where we could relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and we loved being able to enjoy it outdoors while overlooking the sea.

No negatives to mention, everything was great.

Its position right on the sea is wonderful, the small beach is a little stony but as soon as you´re in the water the depth is perfect for swimming and the size of school children. The pool is wonderful, the whole pool area has a definite and genuine retro style that really makes you feel relaxed and placed into the 1960s. Also, the staff was very gentle, smiling, and helpful, although only one or two actually knew some English. The rooms have balconies overlooking the sea, and if you sleep with an open door (which is recommendable) you fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves.

We tried dinner only once, and were not very happy with it. The breakfast buffet was fine. The location is 5 km from Sant Carles de la Rapita, so you can´t walk to the city for dinner. Have a car or use a taxi. Sant Carles has a lovely beach for small children and several good restaurants, but is not a very charming city. The rooms were small, but who needs to stay in the room when the beach is right outside? If you use a gps for a hired car, make sure you don´t use the official address which is in Alcanar to find it, you have to use Sant Carles - we drove around for half an hour before we asked someone and were directed to the right place. Finally, the wifi was free, but unstable.
